About Design and Management of Learning Environments Conferences

The Learning Environments series of annual conferences is a joint venture between Merlin Events and Marketing and Nigel Oseland of Alexi Marmot Associates.

Merlin Events & Marketing organises and promotes conferences, seminars, and training courses for the buildings and construction industry. We work with carefully selected technical partner organisations to produce informative and stimulating events for our customers and delegates. Merlin Events & Marketing is run by Maggie Procopi, an event manager of some 20 yearsí experience. Prior to founding Merlin Events & Marketing in January 2000, Maggie was head of events at the Building Research Establishment. Over the years her clients have included: BEAMA, Built Environment, CIBSE, National Energy Centre, and various government departments. Before working in the Construction industry, Maggie spent much of her time organising motivational events for a variety of customer organisations.

Nigel Oseland of Alexi Marmot Associates is an Environmental Psychologist and Director at AMA Alexi Marmot Associates. He was previously Director of Consulting at Swanke Hayden Connell Architects.
